Privacy Policy
DollarSquaresSM is a shelf of cheap things on Amazon and a few recipes. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter and no advertising trackers, so there is very little to say here — but this page says all of it.
Who we are
DollarSquaresSM (dollarsquares.com) is operated by GiftMwah LLC, a company in the United States. For anything about this policy, email support@giftmwah.com.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. You cannot create an account on this site and we never ask for your name, email address, or anything else about you.
Anonymous click counts. When you tap a product, the site adds one to that product's daily total so we know which squares people like. The count is a number per product per day; it is not tied to you, your device, or your address, and there is no record of who clicked.
Your basket, on your own phone. The items you add to the cart basket are kept in your browser's local storage so they survive a trip to Instagram or Amazon and back. They never leave your device and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Ordinary server logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, which, like every web host, briefly processes the technical details of each request (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the page and block abuse. We do not use that data to identify or profile visitors. Cloudflare's own policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
What we do not do
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other advertising or tracking script. We do not sell, rent, or share visitor data with anyone, because we do not have any to share. We do not set tracking cookies. The one cookie the site can set is a sign-in cookie for the people who run the site's admin panel; visitors never receive it.
Amazon
Every product link goes to Amazon.com with our Amazon Associates tag, which is how the site is paid: as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases and sign-ups. Once you are on Amazon, Amazon's own privacy notice applies to what you do there, including any cookies Amazon sets to attribute the purchase. We receive commission reports from Amazon in aggregate; they do not tell us who bought what. Amazon's notice is at amazon.com/privacy.
Instagram and Facebook
DollarSquaresSM posts to its own Instagram account (@dollarsquares) and its own Facebook Page through Meta's publishing tools. That connection only lets us publish to our own accounts. It does not give us access to your Facebook or Instagram profile, your friends, your messages, or anything else about you, and we do not request, receive, or store any Facebook or Instagram user data. Likes, comments and follows you leave on those accounts are governed by Meta's privacy policy, and you can remove them there at any time.
Children
The site is for adults doing their own shopping. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13, and, as above, we do not collect personal information from anyone.
Deleting your data
Because we hold no personal data, there is normally nothing to delete: the only thing stored about your visit is the basket in your own browser, which you can clear yourself. If you believe we hold something about you anyway — for example an email you sent us — write to support@giftmwah.com with the subject "data deletion" and we will delete it and confirm within 30 days. This address also serves as the data deletion contact for our Facebook and Instagram integration.
Changes
If the site ever starts collecting more than this — a newsletter, say — this page will change first and the date below will move. The current version always lives at dollarsquares.com/privacy/.
