From the grocery store
about 1.5 lb boneless chicken breasts or thighs. Any store, on the way home. Not in the cart button; we do not sell chicken.
From your kitchen
a 9 by 13 baking dish, foil, an oven at 375, salt and pepper.
What to do
- Oven to 375. Chicken in the dish, salted and peppered. Drained green beans around it.
- Stir the soup with half a cup of the broth and pour it over the chicken.
- Stir the dry stuffing with the rest of the broth until it is damp, not soup. Spread it over the top. Paprika.
- Foil on for 25 minutes, foil off for 20, until the chicken is cooked through and the top is crisp. One dish. Nobody invited.
